History

Nash Metropolitan is a charming two-seater car. It was produced by Nash in the U.S. as a response to the European importcars how began to appear in the American market. The design had much in common with the older brother Nash, but the body was much smallen and in collaboration with Austin in Great Britain was provided with a cylinder, BMC engine of 1500cc and 51hp. Metropolitan was curiously under three diffrent names, Nash, Austin and a few years also Hudson. There were all identival cars with only emblems of the hub that separated them.
It sold about 170 Metropolitan in Sweden during the years 1954 to -61, today there are only a decades that remains.
